I rented a room with one good window and invited people to sit with me for an hour as the sun went down. No props, no direction beyond “stay as long as you like.”
The Quiet Hours is about what a face does when it stops performing. Somewhere around minute forty, people forget the camera, and that’s the frame I’m always waiting for.
